Astral Radiance introduces Radiant Pokémon, which function similarly to Shining Pokémon from the Neo Series and Pokémon ☆ from the EX Series. Radiant Pokémon are all Basic Pokémon that portray the Shiny form of a species and have a Rule Box stipulating only one Radiant Pokémon can be included in a deck.
